In the state of Vermont, the judiciary consists of an appellate court which is the Supreme Court. It also has a trial court known as the Vermont Superior Court. NOTE - There are various rules that must be followed for Essex County requesters to obtain records. The office is open between 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday and 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. EST on Thursday to attain records in-person in Essex County. Photo ID is needed to attain records in Essex County. This could include a driver’s license or state ID. A requester must also put their public record requests in writing in Essex County.
