How Do I Get Windham County Criminal Records?
Windham County criminal history checks and criminal conviction reports are provided by the VCIC. Criminal history checks are available only to persons named on criminal records. Third parties can request a criminal conviction report by providing a name and date of birth of the record’s subject. Criminal records can be obtained online, via mail, or in person.
Non-certified copies of criminal records can be obtained online through the Vermont Conviction Record website. Online requests cost $30 per criminal conviction report requested. Payments can be made via credit card only. There is no processing time for this request method.

Mail-in requests take 5-7 days to process and payment can be made through money order and cashier’s check. Applicants must submit their requests with self-addressed stamped envelopes. The VCIC does not provide fingerprint record checks. However, fingerprints can be scanned at any of the identification centers across Vermont where applicants can submit their fingerprints. This service is provided by the FBI and costs $25.
